Darion Hodge is a world-renowned musician who found his love for music at an early age after being exposed by his family full of musicians. He was born in rural Hammond, Louisiana in 1994. His early exposure to gospel music in his home church set the foundation for his passion to play multiple instruments, write music, and produce for multiple artists.
Darion is a polished and electrifying bass guitarist, drummer, and keyboardist. Due to his connections with musicians and artists in the industry, in 2017 he was able to land his first of many touring gigs. He toured in Europe (Italy, Spain, Germany, and France) for three months playing the drums for The Jamalar Agency/Joyful and the Spirit of New Orleans. Immediately after, he went on the road with Blues Artist Ronnie Bell playing Auxiliary Keyboards and running playbacks on the “Blues is Alright Tour” playing venues such as NRG Stadium, UNO Lakefront Arena, Township Auditorium, and Chrysler Hall, among others. These earlier experiences set the foundation for what Darion has accomplished so far in his career. He has since then taken his talents to another level, playing and touring multiple venues with several artists all over the world, including historic venues such and the Ryman, The Grand Ole Opry, the Apollo, O2 arena in London, and many more.
He has written, played on and produced multiple records, including The Pop Out EP for Taijan Cook, Flow Tribes’ album Garden of Earthly Delights, co-produced and played bass guitar on a Single featuring Ivan Neville (Dumpstaphunk) entitled Keep Pushing, Chapel Hart’s “That time of year” featuring Darius Rucker, and many more.
Darion is currently the Music Director and Bass player for Country Duo The War and Treaty, Country Rock Duo Magnolia Rising, America’s Got Talent finalist, Chapel Hart, and EDM artist VIBELINE
Darion's philosophy is that with God first and the support of his family, the sky is the limit, and he has vowed to make his mark in the music industry as a force who helped bring out the best in any artist he works with. Stay tuned.
